By carefully listening to the requirements in the market, we have developed our new empty 400gr grease tubes.
Our main focus on the development has been on:
To ensure the best possible design, we opted for In-Mold-Labeling (IML). This technology can offer picture-quality designs. More information on IML you can find here.
Our empty grease cartridges are made of PP (polypropylene) to provide a thicker Tear-off point, reducing the possibility of leakage, while still being easy to tear-off. As the IML is also made from PP, the Cartridge is 100% Recyclable.
To ensure a straight and circular form of the cartridges we made some reinforcements to the design.
Our goal is to produce these cartridges in the future with at least 30% post-consumer recycled material.
It is possible to customise your cartridge with In-Mould Labeling (IML) or screen printing. When using IML, the label is applied during the molding process, resulting in a label that is beautifully incorporated within the cartridge.
The grease cartridge and the IML are made of polypropylene which makes the cartridge 100% recyclable.
The cartridges are produced in a standard 400g grease cartridge size which makes it applicable for grease guns.
The grease cartridges are a collaboration between Moens Packaging and Avamoplast. Both being family businesses with a passion and experience for packaging.
Avamoplast specialises in the production of all types of plastic packaging. To achieve this they work with 2 types of production processes: injection moulding and thermoforming. For the production of the grease cartridge they will employ injection moulding.
Moens Packaging is a distributor of all types of packaging: ranging from the smallest bottle up to the largest container in PE / PP / metal / cardboard, … As we have years of experience in providing packaging for grease and we know the requirements of the market, we are responsible for sales and customer service for the grease cartridges.
